Uniform Guidelines
At Pioneers, we do our best to embody the Prophetic values of cleanliness and tidiness. We see this as core to our faith as well as part of raising a good Muslim.
Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqas reported: The Prophet, ﷺ, said, “Allah is pure and He loves purity, He is clean and He loves cleanliness, He is noble and He loves nobility, and He is generous and He loves generosity, so clean your homes.” The Prophet ﷺ also said “Allah is Beautiful, He loves beauty”
As such, it’s important to us that our students observe good personal hygiene as well as the uniform rules of the school. This reflects on the students themselves as well as the school as a whole. We ask that you support us in this mission by observing the following:
Hair should be clean and brushed. If long, please ensure that students use necessary hair clips/ties to keep it out of their eyes.
Uniforms need to be in good condition. This means clean, pressed and not torn. Please have extra sets of uniforms so that students can switch them out throughout the week. Students should not be wearing the same one for 5 days.
- For Girls:
- Jumper, sweater, and shirt must be the Land’s End brand or Tommy Hilfiger.
- Sweater and jumper must have the Pioneer’s logo
- Jumpers must be below the knee
- Solid black shoes
- Black, white, or navy blue socks
- If your daughter decides to wear a hijab during the school hours, hijab must be one of these colors; black, white or navy blue.
- For Boys:
- Shirt and sweater must be a Land’s End brand or Tommy Hilfiger with Pioneer’s logo
- Pants can be other brands but must match the Land’s End color and style. Cargo pants with side pockets and elastic at the ankle are not accepted
- Solid black shoes
- Black, white, or navy blue socks
- Nails need to be trimmed, clean, and no nail polish,
- Hair should be clean and brushed. If long, please ensure that students use necessary hair clips/ties to keep it out of their eyes.
